Carrie's TOUCH is an empowering app designed specifically for Black, Indigenous Women of Color (BIWOC) who are surviving breast cancer. Developed by CARRIE TOUCH INC, this free app aims to save more BIWOC and humanize their experience with breast cancer.

Survive and Thrive, the first app conceptualized and designed by Black, Indigenous Women of Color, addresses the unique challenges faced by BIWOC survivors. It aims to provide tangible support and resources, create better communication between patients and doctors, dismantle "toxic strength" culture, and connect marginalized communities with resources, answers, and support.

The app offers an "I WAS JUST DIAGNOSED" page to guide new survivors, along with meditations, affirmations, journals, and reminders tailored for breast cancer survivors. It also provides access to support groups, videos, financial resources, oncologists of color, free/low-cost therapy, and more.

Carrie's TOUCH, a non-profit organization founded by two Black women with a breast cancer diagnosis, saw the need for more support and services for BIWOC. Survive and Thrive is their innovation to increase accessibility and provide much-needed support to a wider audience.

To improve the app, Carrie's TOUCH welcomes feedback from survivors, encouraging them to share their thoughts and suggestions. While they may not be able to respond to every email, they value the voices of their users and appreciate their input.
